Why do text highlights display correctly in Adobe Acrobat but not in PDF-XChange Editor?
Answer:
The blending mode for the highlight tool has been changed from its default setting. Follow the steps below to resolve this issue:
On the Home tab, Right Click the Highlighter tool and click Comment Styles Palette.
The Comment Styles Pallete will open.
- Click Reset and then click Yes in the confirmation dialog box.
Alternatively, you can manually change the blend mode for each chosen style, this is visible in the rightmost panel and shows the properties for the tool style selected in the middle panel, Multiply is the default value:
