I am retired. I started using PDF-XChange Editor during my career in mainframe OS development. As I retiree, I still use the product. I mainly use it to (1) maintain my collection of PDF documents, and (2) add my notes/hints to users manuals for devices we have.
I find it to be an easily understandable product, and an easily configurable product (I have modified the main ribbon to match my usage habits with the product)...

I use the PDF-XChange Editor only for the same features available in Acrobat Reader, so I can't provide a review of its PDF editing capabilities. But PDFX is far superior to Acrobat as well as the other PDF reader/editor apps that I tried.
It has a complete and robust set of tools, capabilities, and personalizations.
