How do I Create a Counter Stamp

I need a counter stamp for quickly counting various items in a single document, or globally across all documents.

The Counter Stamp is one of the Custom stamp objects that can be used for counting elements.

In the Editor, open the Comments tab, and locate the Stamp tool, open the “Stamps Palette”:
Within the Stamps palette Window, click “Add new > Add Custom Stamp”:
In the resultant window, click the “counter” button on the left side bar, then define the “counter type”:
Click OK, and then draw counter “field” in your document as needed (you can hold ALT to make it perfectly square).
Once the object is placed, you can click directly on it to select it, and customize the “properties” to get the appearance as desired:
Once you are happy with the appearance, click “Add Stamp” and choose or create the collection you wish to add your counter stamp.
Congratulations, you are done, and you can now begin placing your stamp.
