So far, I've really enjoyed the experience using PDF-XChange Editor, it's a great alternative to Adobe, and PDF-XChange is much more affordable and worth the price in comparison to Adobe. I've used Adobe for many years in my professional career, but I've always found it to be too expensive and loaded with too many features for light/occasional home use. When I learned about PDF-XChange I immediately downloaded the free version and used it for a a couple of weeks, I enjoyed it so much that I decided to go with the premium version of PDF-XChange. The user interface is so similar to Microsoft Office products that getting used to navigating the ribbon and looking for the right tools made using the software very intuitive. I would highly recommended this product to anyone looking for a PDF editor at a more affordable price, but that still delivers on features.

I've used this program for many years and highly recommend it. I recently needed product support to get past a problem and update the program to the latest version. I was pleased to find that I got immediate, clear, and professional help over email that got me past the issue very quickly. Paul O' Rorke was the technician who responded and he was excellent to deal with in solving my problems.

As a daily user of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for more than a decade, I was initially skeptical when an AI assistant recommended PDF-XChange Editor. However, after testing it alongside PDF-Tools, I have been pleasantly surprised.

The separation of editing and automation functions into two dedicated applications is an excellent design decision. Unlike Acrobat, where extensive actions can tie up the application, PDF-XChange allows batch processes to run independently while the editor remains available for productive work.

The inclusion of ABBYY FineReader OCR is another standout feature. The ability to perform OCR in multiple languages simultaneously is invaluable for my work with multilingual documents and dictionaries. In this area, PDF-XChange offers capabilities that are difficult to match.

The Folder Monitor deserves special mention. It has become part of my daily workflow and significantly improves efficiency through automation.

After extensive use, I have not identified any missing functionality that would prevent me from replacing Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. If PDF-XChange can be integrated seamlessly with my Windows Terminal Server and SharePoint environment, I see a realistic possibility of ending my Acrobat subscription and moving entirely to the PDF-XChange ecosystem.

This will be the last PDF Editor you will ever have to buy. They've thought of everything!

I'm fairly pleased with this PDF-Xchange editor Plus we have purchased, it is affordable and has been easy to use!!! We switched from Adobe and Bluebeam product due to the high costs.

Your tool is exceptional!

Using it for technical annotations is a pleasure, is powerful and allows flexibility.
In my workflow, technical drawings can easily be commented and annotated for clients or site distribution.
With the paid version I can shift from comment to content changes, I can layer all for visibility control according to audience or intent.
I can turn sketches to drawings I can combine into paged documents, I am only now realizing the full capabilities of the paid version.

After years of paying for Adobe, I made the leap to PDF-Xchange Editor after reading about it on Reddit. I love it!

There's a slight learning curve, but after 10 mins of working through it, I find that it's more useful and has more features than Adobe!
