So far I’ve used PDF-XChange PRO to convert a collection of images (a couple of hundreds) into a pdf. It was quite easy to do; even though I had 0 knowledge of how to use the program, it was still very doable with some guidance from the Internet. It’s also nice that you can find how to use features you’re interested in via google search, which is not always true for software. I also used built-in OCR, which I believe is actually ABBYY FineReader under the hood, and it gave me by far the best results out of all solutions I tried (OCRmyPDF and Adobe Acrobat Pro). I used a separate tool to add bookmarks (HandyOutliner), but I did use PDF-XChange to do some edits and found the experience very pleasant. As for the negatives, the OCR on 500-page pdf comprising images made my PC unresponsive at first, because it started too many worker processes, which exhausted my CPU, but I found an option to set a limit for worker count and that solved the issue for me. Maybe the worker limit should be set to half the CPU cores by default? All in all, I find the functionality of the program to be great and UI a joy to use. I also very much appreciate that the perpetual license is an option for this software. Very good product!

PDF-XChange PRO outshines NitroPro in so many ways - small and large. I am a total convert and wish I had switched long ago. It’s the silver lining to the demise of my old laptop!

I have used a competitor's product for as long as it has existed. It's just gotten more and more difficult to use. I switched to PDF-XChange Pro as a trial and have fallen in love with this product. it loads incredibly fast and it stays off the cloud. My favorite feature is the ability to find deeply embedded menu items using the menu search bar. This has everything that I want and need in a PDF editor at a really good price.

I have been using the free version of PDF-Xchange Editor for years and felt it was time to contribute. I purchased the Xchamge Pro, which includes the Tools and Editor with a couple of years of maintenance, which will keep me updated. I create many PDF reports and have refused to buy Acrobat because of the subscription that goes with it. PDF-Xchange Pro does everything I need, from creating forms to editing PDFs. A great piece of software that I highly recommend, especially if you are looking for an alternative to lengthy and expensive subscription plans. I hope that the good people at Tracker continue providing great software for another 27 years!

I have been using this suite of programs for years. This is the most powerful suite of software for working with PDFs. You can make many changes to PDF files, convert between different formats, extract individual elements, and optimize file sizes using custom templates. Last year I looked for alternatives to this software and couldn't find any. Even if you use MacOS, it's worth setting up a virtual Windows machine and installing PDF-XChange PRO on it.

The GUI is hard getting used to. It appears messy and all over the place. Most software GUI's seems to follow standard and is intuitive. This GUI seems difficult. Not sure if it is the GUI itself or the appearance which looks nothign like software in 2024. It's like i have taken a timewarp back to 1999. The product is great and powerful and give it 10/10. Just is hard getting used to the GUI.

Ich nutze PDF-XChange Pro schon seit vielen Jahren, weil es sich perfekt für die Erstellung von PDF-Dokumenten aus Word heraus eignet. Die Überschriften und deren Verlinkung wird aus dem Word-Dokument mit in das PDF-Dokument übernommen. Einzelne Verlinkungen lassen sich auch lösen oder individuell anpassen. Einzelne Seiten lassen sich sehr einfach löschen oder hinzufügen, auch wenn mir das Menü dazu in der aktuellen Version nicht mehr so gut gefällt. Aber das ist Geschmackssache, mit der Funktion hat das nichts zu tun. Falls man mal eine Frage hat, hilft einem der Support schnell weiter. Meine Fragen wurden bislang immer innerhalb eines Tages beantwortet. Ich nutze sicher nur einen Bruchteil von dem was mit PDF-XChange Pro möglich ist. Es ist sehr umfangreich. Das einzige was fehlt ist ein Handbuch auf Deutsch. Das Menü von PDF-XChange Pro ist auf Deutsch, warum dann kein Handbuch auf Deutsch.

這裡有很多英文評論了，我這則評論就以繁體中文來寫吧。我是臺灣人，這個 PDF XChange 有聽別人使用過，但只有看別人使用過 Viewer，沒有看過他人使用 Editor。我認為買錯比買貴更浪費，所以有些下載了它的試用版，試驗它的一些功能。包含單獨下載PDF xchange editor試用，以及下載PDF xchange Pro來試用。用起來的感覺是：介面美觀直覺，而且語言可以選擇繁體中文。我覺得中文翻譯不隨便，感覺有讓相關專業人士修飾過。 OCR 部分準確度可以接受，而且OCR完還有分三種不同的顯示方式：可搜尋的圖片(Searchable Image)、可編輯的文字和圖像(Editable Text and Images)、精細頁面內容(Fine Page Content)。這幾種模式都各有優缺，我試用過覺得非常特別！試用完之後，想說是買斷的就買來用用看。我看到再加一些錢就可以有最多3年的更新，感覺很值得。不過，這款軟體它中文的資源相對少，幾乎沒有。還好我本身不排斥看英文所以可以看它官網的英文說明書，也可以看YouTube上的一些教學影片。這個PDF XChange真的有很多貼心的功能，使用起來使用者體驗非常好。相較於臺灣國內的文電通(Right PDF)，我覺得 PDF XChange 價格更低，功能也更強大，而且加一些價格就有提供一定期間的持續更新。我個人是買 PDF XChange Pro，包含 PDF XChange Editor Plus, 主要編輯、閱覽 PDF 的程式。Plus 版的 OCR 功能有增強。 PDF-XChange Standard, 虛擬印表機，當你需要將文件導出為 PDF 的時候會用上，因為有些應用程式本身沒有內建這樣的功能。 PDF-Tools, 我個人認為可以理解為 PDF XChange Editor Plus 的功能捷徑。在 PDF XChange Editor Plus 需要五、六個步驟才能做的事情，在這個程式中一、兩個步驟就完成。

Excellent resource program. All that is missing is PDF CROPPING when the image is uneven. If possible, implementing a feature that detects edges and corrects documents would be important. Another feature would be to IMPROVE image (contrast).

I'll be honest. I've always looked for a valid alternative to Adobe Acrobat. And I've tried a lot of products. I've also read many reviews, and I've always found out that many are fake. Then, I started to try by myself a considerable number of applications. In the end, I've understood that not only is PDF-XChange Pro the best valid alternative to Adobe, but I think it's so configurable that now I'm sure Adobe is not the best. Adobe is one of the groups of apps that can manage PDF files. To be short, I have to adapt to a new interface, but I work very fast for my things. The only "drawback", if I can call it so, is the speed of OCR: other apps are a little faster. But that's ok. So, if you are looking for a great app that lets you do literally what you want with PDF files, PDF-XChange Pro is a must.

Hallo zusammen, das Programm ist übersichtlich aufgebaut. Es arbeitet sehr schnell und sehr zuverlässig. Endlich mal ein Handbuch zu einem PDF-Programm, das klar verständlich ist und entsprechend umfangreich. Genauso wie die Einstellmöglichkeiten im Programm selbst. Die Fein-Tuning Möglichkeiten sind hervorragend, aber nicht "erschlagend", so dass man wirklich vernünftig arbeiten kann. Die Funktionsvielfalt ist erschreckend gut. Ich vermisse nichts. Hut ab. Verglichen mit den Programmen, mit denen ich vorher gearbeitet habe: Adobe zu teuer, oft zu ungenau, Abstürze und Ungereimtheiten (die Druck Ergebnisse waren nicht das, was eigentlich vom Bildschirm und von den Einstellungen her erwartet worden wäre). Bin dann aufgrund dieser Umstände zu einer Kombination aus Foxit PDF Editor und Readiris PDF 17 (und später 22) gekommen. Ich habe lange mit dieser Kombination gearbeitet. Readiris wurde hauptsächlich zum Komprimieren (iHQC erzeugt sehr gute Qualität, bei sehr geringer Größe) und Geradestellen benutzt. Die anderen Bearbeitungen mit Foxit. Der ständige Wechsel zwischen den beiden Programmen hat mich dazu erwogen, mir ein neues Programm zu suchen. Und ich habe einige, wirklich einige, ausprobiert. Unfortunately PDF-X-Change does not have full cross hairs. Lucky for me there is a cool util that can help out. https://download.cnet.com/CrossHair/3000-12565_4-10561218.html The big advantage of full cross hairs is the easy alignment. What i also would like to see also is the option to erase part of the pdf (i could not find anything in the current release). PDF-X-Change is preferred by me over all the other apps out there. Hands down, the best out there. I have tried other software packages on different platforms (PC/MAC/iPAD) and I have to do all of my editing on my PC with PDF X-Change. I still have unresolved (OCR, pdf to Office convertors) issues with the competitive packages. All work flawlessly on PDF X-Change. An excellent product which I use constantly in my work as a researcher. I have been using it for many years, and was able to renew it recently with the patient help of support manager Europe, Stefan Dzhukelov. There isn't anything I dislike about the app. Perhaps it would be useful to have it on multiple devices like tablets etc. What I like about the app are the following: * easy to navigate. * The OCR was useful in transforming foreign scripts like Chinese and Japanese to editable text. * pages organizer such as the insert and delete pages option *snapshot *signature option under the Protect tab * Search for a word within a text: this is especially useful for research work There are many other tools which I haven't yet experimented with (such as the add video and sound media) although I intend to do so.

This is a great programme. At present i am principally involved in medicolegal work. I use it to interrogate voluminous National health Service UK medical notes, and to create a sub -file of relevant pages, using the "organise" facility. In practice this usually means condensing the records to about 10% of the total. The hospital and general practitioner notes in the UK are very badly organised, with frequent duplications. They are never in any logical or temporal sequence. In many cases the notes have to be extracted from multiple medical institutions. I have devised a numbering system which allows one to enter pages as one goes along, creating a sequence of medical entries in strict temporal order: in addition, one can add a few words explaining the salient points on that particular page. I would be happy to share this method with you.

I have been using PDF-XChange PRO for several years. It is a great product and does everything I need in producing board of directors' books. The added benefit is converting PDF documents with OCR to searchable ones and from PDF to Word. It is a great product and costs a lot less than the large competitor.

I had purchased a license of the software years ago. At that time, the software did not quite meet my needs, so I also used a competing product. I have worked with Adobe Acrobat Pro and Foxit Phantom PDF Pro for years in the past. However, these are no longer competitive due to current pricing. Due to the continuous development of your product "PDF-XChange PRO" I decided to give this program another chance. After the first tests I came to the conclusion that your software in its current form is very promising and practical, so that my work is made a lot easier. There are still a few small rough edges, like the not customizable interface (floating toolbars), but that's complaining on a high level. On the other hand, the working speed is excellent. As a long time Adobe Acrobat user I was reluctant to change to something that was not the "original". I bought XChange Pro and I am very glad I did. Product is very intuitive, and much less expensive. I sent a test message to tech support to see how they responded and they were very quick and helpful. (That said, I am tempted to take off a star since I had to use the freaking captcha "I am not a robot" photo gallery in order to verify this review... Despite freaking captcha, I highly recommend XChange Pro.)

I think I am not very good myself. I think is good software overall. I think editing is not as easy as I thought on it if want to edit a section it selects the all line. And some videos for features where to find will help.

I was looking for a pdf editor that was not adobe. But only adobe allowed me to edit meta data and initial views of bookmarks and thumbnails, so I was stuck using it until I found this program. It has so many options for editing I haven't figured out how to use them all yet. It is not as intuitively user friendly as adobe but I think it may actually do more and now I own the program and don't have to pay subscription fee. Thank you PDF-XChange!

A very powerful tool that leaves almost nothing to be desired. A button to directly control the sorting of the form fields is missing. I can’t remember how to get there. After text recognition and alignment, the text might be sharper.

iyi günler.(yeterli İngilizce bilgim olmadığından Türkçe yazıyorum.) 2012 yılından şimdiye kadar sırasıyla One note, Notability, Goodnotes, Flexcil, Pdf annotator programlarını kullandım. Bir kaç gün önce de sizin PDF-XChange PRO yazılımını satın aldım. PDF-XChange PRO programı daha önce bahsettiğim programlara göre çok iyi ve şimdiye kadar kullandığım en iyi program. Bundan dolayı siz ve ekibinize çok teşekkür ederim. Bu arada ufak iki tane sorunum var. (1) programda kalem aracını özelleştirip buna kısa yollar atadım. Normalde kısa yollar çalışıyor. Fakat geçişler arasında sorun yaşıyorum. Örneğin mavi kalem ile yazarken kısa yol tuşuna basıp kırmızı yazmak istediğimde halen mavi yazmaya devam ediyor kırmızıya geçebilmem için yaklaşık 3 saniye kadar beklemem gerekiyor. Yani kısa yola basıp 3 saniye kadar bekledikten sonra kalemi otomatik değiştiriyor. Örneğin mavi kalem ile yazmaktayım kırmızı kaleme geçebilmem için kırmızı için atanmış tuşa basıp yaklaşık 3 saniye beklemem gerekiyor. Ben herhangi bir bekleme yapmadan direk geçiş yapmak istiyorum. (2) kalem aracı özellikleri kısmında pürüzsüzlük seviyesi olarak sadece ‘düşük, orta ve yüksek’ seçenekleri tek var. Buraya ‘en düşük ve yok(prüzsüzlük ayarı yok)’ gibi iki seviye daha getirmenizi istiyorum.

Nice pricing for small business and a lot of compatible Functionality. Microsoft Office imbedded user options works well after installation. Some of the user manuals should contain more information for beginners.
