This software is a pretty great deal, and vastly more economical than anything Adobe offers. It does everything I need it to and more, and it doesn't require a monthly sub or other dystopic nonsense for a productivity tool. Highly recommended.

THis a PDF software that has worked for me for over 20 years in its prior life and now, No glitch, no issue, no problem and with actual reachable "live" support.
Other soiftware specilises in collecting money through subscription and other automated payment systems and provide BOT support and other useless support such as FORUM.
As long as TRACKER keeps its "HUMAN" touch I will use it.

Hello! I was asked to use this at a title company I worked for, I haven been a title examiner since 1991 and change is hard. Move along, 2 years later and company sold and didn't go well and we were laid off...I decided to make the change and be self employed! Divorced and laid off within 6 days! Wow! I have no money or savings but this was vital....so I charged it and absolutely love it still. This software helps me stay productive! It's a must!

I use the PDF-XChange Editor only for the same features available in Acrobat Reader, so I can't provide a review of its PDF editing capabilities. But PDFX is far superior to Acrobat as well as the other PDF reader/editor apps that I tried.

It has a complete and robust set of tools, capabilities, and personalizations.

If anyone has ever tried to create a quick toolbar in Acrobat then you know how tedious it can be. You need to go through a tree structure about four times for EACH item that you want to add to the toolbar.

Acrobat requires that you click on Comment in order to get the Comment toolbar at the top of the window for every file that you open, but not PDFX.

PDFX has a customizable ribbon and a customizable Quick Access toolbar that functions and looks like that of Word and Excel. Not Acrobat.

In short, PDFX has much of a standardize UI that you find in many programs, which Acrobat does not have.

We use 10 licenses at our company, it greatly helps and speeds up work. We are a copy shop, the biggest help is converting pdf files to a state suitable for printing.
Customer service responds almost immediately and provides a perfect solution to our problem. It's true, it's only been needed twice so far :)

I have used PDF-XChange Editor in the demo mode for years and have liked it as it very much resembles Adobe Acrobat in functions. I finally purchased a licence as I like the ability to create dynamic stamps, a whole lot easier than Acrobat. No need to learn Java script. The licenced version also unlocks all the nice features like splitting a file, combining multiple files to create a single file. And the price is very affordable compared to Adobe Acrobat. You actually purchase a perpetual licence with the option of paying for upgrades. I have tried the other PDF editors on the market but never really liked any of them either because they were too difficult to use, not intuitive, expensive etc.

I’m a long time user of Acrobat Pro and over the years, it has become increasingly complex, not intuitive,, and complex. I finally decided to look elsewhere and came across PDF-XChange. Wow! What a difference! PDF-XChange is is best thing I’ve come across in. Very long time - it’s extremely powerful, intuitive, and I can’t get over how efficient it is! Also, OCT is AMAZING!

In general I like it a lot, but am more accustomed to the prior version. The only suggestion I have at the moment is that it would be nice if you could use the CNTRL/Home key combination to go to the top of the document.

PDF-XChange Editor had completely replaced Adobe Acrobat in our architectural office workflow. This is the application that we use daily as our main tool for production, creation of PDF booklets, completion of any sort of documentation primarily issued in form of PDF. Existign booklets are maintained with ease, everything for us perfectly, sorting of pages, updating or replacing pages in PDF format. It is perferct tool for commenting drawings or any form of documentation. It its the best tool for us and it is recommended to everybody to try. Thanks to you for a good and affordable product.

provengo dall'uso di un software alternativo al Vs. ( SODA) con qui operavo da svariati anni. Ho voluto cambiare poichè era, nel mio caso, fortemente instabile.
Per quanto ho potuto valutare ad oggi trovo il Vs. più veloce.
E' più complesso perciò avrò ancora esperienza da maturare, ma per ora sono soddisfatto!!
Una cosa non capisco, in fase d'ordine non ho capito la differenza tra il normale ed il "Plus" ne ho capito come poter eventualmente ordinare / integrare tale opzione.
Attendo Vs. chiarimenti.
Per accedere in modo legale a della documentazione in PDF attualmente devo utilizzare Acrobat poichè c'è l'applicativo File Open integrabile che consente l'apertura in sola lettura dei file.
Tale file è integrabile anche in PDFXEdit, se si, chiedo istruzioni.

We have been using this software for several years now, for the price I am often surprised by what it can do. For our needs, i.e. the needs of a small business, for which it is expensive to pay overpriced Adobe product licenses, this product is fully sufficient and I can only recommend it with a clear conscience.

.pdf files are everywhere, and so I need a good program to read them and many are available. However, sometimes the .pdf needs to be edited or combines, or OCR'd, etc. That's were PDF-XChange Editor shines because you can do so many things with it to make the .pdf document both versatile and secure. The versatility can be confusing though, because all those options have to be put in drop-down sub-menus and sometimes you have to hund around for them. I have used the help feature as well as google to locate some of the features, but once you get used to the organizational menues, you are good to go. No software is perfect, but this is very, very good and I'm glad I got it, and have renewed the support thing every year since then.

So far I like it very much. Since I used Adobe Acrobat Pro updating every two years to the latest version over many years I have some minor relearning to do, but thats not a big deal. Your software is also much faster than Adobes.

First of all, I am not a heavy user of PDF files. I was using the DEMO version a long time.
So, it is not a question of like/dislike, but need/not need.
The program is just great, and I LIKE IT ! TOO MUCH !
It offers so many capabilities that a user like me, unfortunately, can easely get lost.
Given some more time maybe I can be more helpful.
Notwithstanding, I tried to create a custom STAMP, unsuccefully. Not the this is critical to me, just exploring its features.
As the matter of fact, I couldn´t access a file with examples of stamps, offered by other (advanced) users. This may be usable ... IF YOU CAN SEND IT TO ME ...
Aha ... I appreciate the possibility to optimize (shrink) a file. Very handy.
Also, the personalization of rectangles etc.
Well, sorry if I cannot be of more assistance.

I bought PDF-XChange Editor Plus as I had been a user of the free version of PDF XChange for years as it was by far the best OCR software in my experience, easy to use, and loads fast. The reason I bought the Editor Plus version was to be able to use the OCR version that uses all of the CPUs cores (i.e., multi-core OCR software). I was not disappointed. As a comparison, the free version of the OCR (which uses a single core) took 15 - 20 minutes to OCR a 205 page document that was not well-scanned. When I used the Editor Plus version, it took 90 seconds. This was with a Ryzen 7 3700X CPU (8 core, 16 thread) with 32 GB RAM.

It is also very easy to join PDF documents together and apply Bates numbering.

This software more than rivals Adobe and at a far better price than Adobe's ridiculous monthly pricing.

I cannot argue value for money when comparing with other PDF software that I am familiar with, especially given how important fast OCR technology processing needs to be for large PDF files. But if you want fast OCR technology, make sure you have enough RAM, as this software will use all processor cores and for each core it uses about 500MB RAM (I recommend 16 GB RAM minimum if you have a 6 - 8 core multi-threaded CPU). That is not a criticism of the software, as the software is just performing as advertised.

I found all necessary functions that I used to know from Acrobat and - a lot of more!
Much more and everything seems to have more options and possibility in use.
I'm satisfied!

PDF-Xchange Editor is on lots of features MUCH BETTER than the Original Adobe Acrobat Prof, dut the interface is not always intuitive, you have to search for lesser used options, like splitting scanned pages (a3-> 2xA4). Nevertheless one is missing some nice options like File Comparison and too my Abbyy Finereader V16 is doing the OCR work better on text and layout reproduction. A point that is fully missing is the CATALOG function, especially for more files in a directory, but this can be resolved by using the superb Archivarius3000 package from Likasoft.. Alltogether PDF-Xchange is a very good alternative for Adobe Acrobat Prof at a far cheaper price

la funzione più utile che ho usato da subito è la possibilità di generare pdf multipli usando un modello e popolando i campi ricavandoli da un file .csv

For an SMB-size professional firm, the cost of maintaining an Adobe Business contract to satisfy PDF creation needs had become unsustainable. User resistance to change had delayed the decision, but an additional rate increase for this year's contract renewal was the final factor in terminating our subscriptions. On the advice of an IT manager from another organization, I used domain policy to distribute PDF-X Pro to a group of PCs for testing (and later to all PCs) while maintaining our Adobe subscriptions a year ago. The ability to use all the functionality (with watermarked output) on unlicensed installations is an ideal approach and provides an easy means to introduce and test PDF-X as a potential Acrobat Pro replacement. The online documentation was sufficient to get the users acclimated and determine that we could eliminate the Acrobat subscriptions when the renewal came around again this year. I bought a license pack for PDF-XChange Editor Plus and distributed the activation keys (via a simple script) to the existing installations (without reinstalling). There have been a handful of tasks which required some investigation to master, but on the whole, I've had very little resistance from the users about making the transition. While the move has not been effortless, it has been much easier than anticipated and returned considerable savings to my software budget. I fully intend to continue renewing our PDF-X license maintenance and am open to upgrading the license level to PDF-X Pro if the users demonstrate a need for it. The Tracker Software support team was responsive and helpful on the one occasion when I needed some advice. I would have no reservations in recommending the move to PDF-X for other organizations that struggle with the "Adobe Tax" for PDF creation tasks.

I purchased the PDF-Editor V9 over a week ago to replace an old software that kept crashing (PhantomPDF). I love this new software! It is user friendly. Colorful icons and pleasant tabs, bars are easy to figure out without reading the manual. Today I looked at the manual for more information on moving jpeg graphics on a PDF and was amazed at all the options, functions and abilities this software offers! I purchased a 3 year license, I am so pleased with this.

I am a seamstress and work with PDFs in my pattern making instructions. It’s vital I can edit pages and move things around for visual appeal. I love using the PDF-Editor! Perfect for my needs. Soon I will be using a scanner with it. Will be awesome and easy. Adding text is simple and editable.

Last really cool feature I saw in the manual is you can take anything you add to a clipboard and save it as a PDF! This is going to be a time saver. I have to insert jpegs into word docs and sometimes I need to crop, move and edit jpegs. Sometimes I miss a drawing that was supposed to be added to my PDF….no problem. I can add it in this software. Sometimes I am working with photos and need them as a jpeg so this will be helpful for me. Any clipart I need to move from one PDF to another or pull clipart off my CDs of cliparts and I can copy to clipboard and add it. No more saving clipart to my picture folder, then importing clipart or my hand drawings. Take photo of my sketches, drop into PDF! So easy!
