Nothing to dislike here. A reasonably priced PDF editor that I can have installed on my computer rather than use questionable online options. Though I wanted it mainly for rearranging and merging to assist with my very small publishing business, I find new ways that it makes my life easier every time I use it. I can't comment on support, as I have had no issues, but something tells me that it would be on point.

I've used an older edition for several years but bought the new version when I got a new computer. That way I still have the old version available on the old computer. The new version has a different feel but overall seems easier to use. There may be new features I haven't yet explored. Very useful when working with pdfs.

This is generally a feature full and smooth working software which I am very happy with. I do however find some aspects annoyingly awkward, such as editing the properties of inserted text as this requires opening the properties window via a different menu (there is no right click option to do so while editing the text) and there an then no easy buttons to modify common properties. Even selecting the text is at times annoyingly difficult as I often cannot select the text in the text box I just inserted, or I keep selecting the form box or lines instead, which makes little sense to me if I am editing text and not the form. I would recommend you take a look at how Nitro-PDF does this and pick up some useful ideas on how to make life easier for us users. I look forward to an already great product becoming even better! I like the fact that we can work easily with it, except for the creation of stamps with tranparent background and dynamic stamps. I find that it is complicated and not so "user friendly" to create them, especially with the java coding..

I am loving PDF-XChange so far. I haven't had a chance to try out all of the editor's features yet. I was a long time user of both Adobe Acrobat and Nitro PDF and the immediate difference between the different software is the performance of PDF-XChange. It is super fast and handles opening multiple files with ease. Also, immediately noticeable is the quality of font rendering - it is gorgeous on all levels of magnification. My use case is general light office work, of which I mainly use PDF-XChange for business, in conjunction with Office365 and Affinity Publisher. I have zero complaints and would 100% recommend PDF-XChange Editor to anyone looking for a reliable PDF editor. Super impressed.

I have been a user of the free version for a long time and really appreciate the difference between the free reader and other free pdf readers including the so call "industry standard". A few days ago I finally decided to purchase the editor and I am fully satisfied with the product. It has a lot of extra features and really makes working and generating pdf a rewarding and easy task. In addition all is done without devouring the memory resources of your system, a common problem in similar applications. I am still figuring out the signature function in order to make compatible with other electronic signatures I use but it look really handy.

Below I give you my initial comments to PDF-XChange Editor Plus and PDF-XChange Lite: 1. In certain applications the "Save File as" dialog field superimposes important parts of the document to be saved. It cannot be shifted and thus often obscures information that I would need to fill in the file name. The "Save File as" dialog field should be made movable. 2. In other applications of mine the Print Progress Bar of PDF-Xchange Lite pops up in the bottom right corner, the corresponding "Save File as" dialog field is always minimized to the taskbar unvisibly behind the Print Progress Bar and it can take the puzzled user some time before he detects it there. It should always be opened in the foreground. 3. I would like to see some of the Ribbon UI > Organize menu items in my favorite "Classic Toolbars" as well. When I started with my PDF-Xchange Editor Plus I looked for functions like delete or insert a page and did not find them there. It took me some time to detect them in the Ribbon UI > Organize menu. Later on I found out how to insert the symbols for these functions in the "Classic Toolbars". I think these symbols (or rather one symbol containing most of the "Organize" funktions) should be there as a default. 4. The three-bar-symbol "Show sorted tabs" at the beginning of the Tabbar should not only be sortable alphabetically but also according to the time the file had been last opened. Best regards Siegmar

Liebes Tracker - Team! Bin schon eine ältere Dame und kann fast kein Englisch und kämpfe sehr mit der Umstellung vom PDF-Viewer auf den PDF-XChange -Editor. Denke die einfache Version hätte für mich genügt. Für mich kann das Programm einfach viel zu viel!!! Been using the free version most of the time, upgraded to the paid version recently because I needed the additional functionality and also to pay the company for a tool that I use every day. A Linux version would be great :-)

I very much like PDF Xchange Editor, especially it’s drawing and text tools. Also one very important to my use is the ability to Optimize file size, allowing me to combine several files together and email as a single file. I use Google earth Pro in my job. I am always looking for better programs to allow me to use google earth Pro images and enhance these images in my presentations. PDF Xchange is the only program I’ve found that gives me the tools I need. i USE with great satisfaction since few years PDF X Change editor to prepare my travels. I appreciate particulary the function "signets" very useful to scroll trough the document I used also the function "recadre" and "recherche" But it seems difficult to reduce the height of pdf even when I delete a great number of pages. I work home more often but i am secvral months at country with an other computer. Is it possible to use alternatively the two computer. Thanks

For the limited functions I need, it's just fine. I would add "better than foxit" I used before and much cheaper ! I use the scan, of course, for 1 to many pages each doc, plus rotation, recadrer, comments for my own logo, text, insert, save as.

Great product for the price. More innovations than an alternative products, e.g. Adobe. But I wish some more functions with javascrips scenarios (ready to use whitout high level experience with javascript) and flexible using of QR-Codes for the future, e.g. QR-Code in a function for bates numbering... Nevertheless, there is some differences / bugs in creating and using of forms, e.g. when the form document is signed the fuction "read-only" doesnt work in xchange Editor plus, but it work in Adobe Acrobat Standard... Another example: the import from csv-file in version 8 works well, but not in the Version 9. All in one is PDFXchangeEditorPlus a very, very helpful tool for me. I do use Xchange programs for more than 7 years. Daily. God bless and all the best. Alex

I like it for filling PDF forms. It's quite good once you understand how to use it. It's a bit difficult to use in other areas such as highlighting passages in a document. I am still learning how to use it. Maybe later, I'll master all the different features available in the program.

I actually recently renewed my maintenance plan, My experience with Tracker Software goes back to the PDF-XChange Viewer. More years ago than I like to think about, I was using the free version and experienced an issue the details of which I no longer remember. I contacted Tracker Software support and received excellent support despite the fact that I was using a free version. Out of appreciation for this, I converted to a paid version and eventually carried that over to the Editor. I continue to keep my maintenance plan active because although I probably understand and use 1% of available features, I continue to appreciate the prompt responsiveness whenever I post in the support forum.

I used the pdf xchange app for a long time as freeware, but I thought it was a really nice program with lots of possibilities. In particular, the possibilities to edit drawings by adding labels. Then I wanted to work with layers. That was only possible if I bought the program. i was already so enamored with the program that i was already planning to buy it anyway. the possibilities are endless. I think it's a wonderful program. That's why I bought it.
