The price is good It seems to do everything I need Stamping a drawing with my engineering stamp and the adding a date is a it finicky but it does work. I may not understand all the properties available. It would be nice if two objects, my stamp and date, could be combined to one object. I would give 4.8 stars. The star selection does not work on my computer for some reason.

I have been using PDF-Xchange for at least 8 years since it was only the Viewer before the Editor was introduced and it's always been a solid program. In the time I've been using it there has always been active development adding new features and fixing bugs. The support from Tracker Software is excellent either over e-mail or in the user forums and have always been able to resolve any issues I've come across. The software itself is much more user friendly and faster than the Acrobat programs from Adobe, especially if you're opening complicated engineering drawings with lots of linework. I have used it both personally and for my business and I can't recommend this program enough if you work with PDF's on a daily basis.

PDF-XChange is very powerful. I like the suite of features it provides. I think my only "dislike" would be the learning curve. Because of its power, it has taken me some time to discover how to access some of the features I need. For example, I spent quite a while trying to determine how to switch to the old-style menus. Note: This is not a complaint concerning the product. When you switch from a machine with 5 switches to one with 100 switches ... it takes a while to learn what they each do! That us why I put "dislike" in quotes.

I am relatively new to PDF creating, editing and viewing and spent a considerable time exploring the different software available before coming across PDF-XChange Editor. The price was sensible ( good to have a lifetime fee when so many are now charging annually) compared to some, and the installation process was painless. Since using PDF-XChange Editor I have found the software to be intuitive, comprehensive and very speedy, especially the PDF Viewer. The many options to customize toolbars and appearance give the user the opportunity to personalize their experience. I have used the many support guides, the knowledge base and the manual to good effect. Especially useful are the many Tracker and youtube video tutorials. This is, by far, the best PDF editor I have ever worked with. When the software was suggested to me I was using that "other program" and it was crashing all the time, getting page errors, font errors, ... your name it. It was such a struggle. My work files are very large, 1200 to 1600 pages on average, so at times I had to make several daily backups to make sure I wouldn't lose my work. Annoying. I downloaded PDF-Xchange Editor and I was sold in about one hour! The first feature that convinced me was the Table of Contents. Fabulous tool for our large manuals. A super great asset. Then, size reduction! In seconds, the files are reduced to less than half their size. Another great feature that caught my attention: resizing the pages, YES! I used that one all the time now. This software is not only practical but it is also fun to use!

I have used PDF Xchange Editor for probably 5 or more years and it is THE best PDF editing and review program on the Planet. It is the only PDF editing program I use and I have not yet found it incapable of doing everything I want to edit PDFs, to assemble documents, booklets, and to even do digital editing of drawings and images. Now, when Tracker comes out with a matching app for Android that makes it seamless to go from editing a document in a PC to continuing that editing on an Android tablet, then the PDF editing software market with be theirs for the taking.

Some of the devoted users of PDF-XChange are convinced that this is the best PDF editor there is. Others swear by the features for the price. My experience was good, however there was nothing mind blowing. But maybe that’s the point. While nothing stood out as incredible, there was also nothing that stood out as annoying or in the way. Nothing was missing nor was anything confusing or frustrating. PDF editors and that line of work can be frustrating as it is, with enough complication. So, by having a system that is easy to use and simple with understandable processes to edit and modify a given document or project, is PDF-XChange ahead of the curve? I was impressed that even with the amount of PDF editing I do, I did not have to switch to another program. That says a lot to me. I did not have to jump to one I was more familiar with just to get my work done. So in that sense as well, this is a huge positive. Je le connais depuis les toutes premières versions et quelles améliorations!!! Chapeau... Je n'ai pas grand chose à lui demander de plus, c'est tellement satisfaisant dans mon métier de professeur. Si vous recherchez quelqu'un pour vous aider sur la traduction en français. Je connais maintenant très bien votre produit. Je ne suis pas du tout capable sur quelques fonctions qui requièrent des connaissances pour les commandes dans les fonctions avancées (lien, mode formulaire) mais je ne demande qu'à... J'utilise allègrement le mode formulaire, l'édition du pdf en natif et bien sûr les commentaires. J'aimerai pouvoir insérer une vidéo. J'aimerai quelques outils supplémentaires pour créer des formulaires auto-correctifs. Pour les tampons auto-dateurs, je n'ai pas réussi à faire une version avec la date française. Je suis certain que ce ne serait rien pour vous d'ajouter cette possibilité. Mais quels progrès vous avez apportés, y compris dans la traduction des menus. Je dis BRAVO !!! È un alleato indispensabile, grazie a questa applicazione ho risolto il problema dell'archivio di pratiche infinite: registri contabili, registro unico del lavoro, anagrafiche dipendenti, inventario dei beni patrimoniali... tutto ordinatamente conservato in tanti file modificabili. La possibilità di inserire note recuperabili con la funzione "cerca", di inserire segnalibri e rinominare, spostare le singole pagine mi permette di avere un archivio ordinato ed efficiente perché trovo l'informazione che mi serve in pochi secondi. Non potrei più farne a meno, lo consiglio vivamente.

Before purchasing a license of this great software, I tried several others, almost all of them, I have no particular needs, however, dealing with banking transactions, insurance, online bill payments for me and for the family it happens to have to transfer, edit, convert, resize, perform "OCR" of documents "PDF" scanned and not. Even though I perform these operations unprofessionally I have been captured by "PDF-XChange", why it does not use large PC resources and all changes can be made quickly and clearly (undo work fine), and when not I understand "how to do" a search in the online help (well done) clarifies everything! Advanced users will find many professional features here! The ability to manage licenses without asking support is great, other editors don't do this, I am very happy to have found "PDF-XChange" that I bought in the plus version. The cost is good because this editor for me has the level of the best (Acrobat, Foxit, Sodapdf, etc.) so I recommend everyone to try it, you won't regret it! Only on two things I'm not very happy and they are: 1) Converting to Word with DOCX extension, viewing/editing of the document is only compatible with recent versions of "Office", starting from 2016 and also other suites free and pro, and "office alternative" do not work correctly, it would be better to offer the possibility of conversion into Word even in DOC format more compatible with common editors/viewers in alternative to "Microsoft Office". 2) Redaction of a document takes place on the original file, so you need to have another copy, otherwise you will have the original document modified! In other software the redaction takes place with saving in a new file. --------------------------------------------------------ITALIAN--------------------------------------------------------- Prima di acquistare una licenza di questo eccezionale software, ho provato diversi altri, quasi tutti, non ho particolari esigenze però occupandomi di transazioni bancarie, assicurative, pagamenti online di bollette per me e per la famiglia succede di dover trasferire, redigere, convertire, ridimensionare, eseguire "OCR" di documenti "PDF" scansionati e non. In altri software la redazione avviene con salvataggio in nuovo file!

Best pdf editor around. Incredible value for anyone who works daily with pdf. I'm an engineer, and have to do markups every day. There is no tool as powerful and fast as Pdf-xchange editor. Even badly exported PDF with hundreds of comments and layers open fast in this tool, while they are painfully slow in the Adobe Suite.

I have used PDF-XChange products for years, and like them better than Adobe because Adobe is privacy-intrusive, and PDF-XChange products just work really well and the price is good. I purchased PDF-XChange Editor specifically because it allows me to enlarge the margins in an existing PDF document. I am reproducing a family heirloom book, and need to add space in the gutter for the new binding. At my previous employer, a young start-up company, my enthusiasm for PDF-XChange products convinced the IT manager to make them the standard for any purchased PDF products. I haven't found anything to not like about PDF-XChange products.

The learning curve going from Adobe Acrobat to PDF-XChange Editor is a bit high. The editor does not seem to be as user intuitive as many other programs. So far I really like the software. It has done most of the tasks I have needed, but I have had to use the "help" function to find many of the needed tools. I may be picky, but the aesthetics of the software seems a bit cluttered and clunky. I have not attempted to customize any of the screens yet, I hope this will help.

I would give this software 10 stars if I could. I've been using Acrobat since it first appeared in the 90s and the last few years I watched the software decline ang get buggy and slow, crashing often. Internal error, font errors, printing errors... You name it. And Band-Aid solutions to these problems are often given by users rather then programmers so it was time to find something else. Your features are exactly what I was looking for. The hyperlinks in the Table of Contents will save me so much time, and that is just one of the many available features. Editing bookmarks? Please and thank you! Just about every Acrobat feature has been improved and others have been added. BRAVO. The only thing it could do would be linking Photoshop / Illustrator as default image /vector editor but I already spoke to someone in Support and I realize this is not feasible so I have already created a workaround. Great job. Thank you!

Hi To All !!! The capabilities of this software is so enormous, i couldn't test all the functions in such a short time. I was looking for a PDF-Software, that can split a DIN A4 sheet in two halfs (Top and Bottom), and then rotate these two halfs through 90 degrees, so that i have two sheets in a DIN A5 format. The long history list, the comments capabilities, security functionality, pick up where you left off etc are only a few of the tools which have really saved me a lot of time. Up to now, I had been using another PDF program. In fact, my subscription does not end for another year. However, I found that program difficult to navigate to accomplish the things I wanted or needed to do. When I hit a wall with that program, I would switch over to PDF-XChange Editor free version to see if I could complete my task. Many times, I was able to. This convinced me I needed to subscribe to PDF-XChange Editor and just take the loss on the other program. That said, I still have some difficulty navigating PDF-XChange Editor's toolbar and still have problems using the tools within the Comment component. What I don't like is not being about to easily turn off the Sticky Note once I have used it. I am not certain why Typewriter is beneficial; it would be better to have a choice of fonts to use for visibility or to gain attention.

I can't believe it took me so long to discover this program! All those wasted years using my legal copies of v9 and v11 A-dope and not willing to buy another legal copy due to their price gouging. It always took me a long time to figure out how to do things in Adobe, but it never takes more than a few seconds in PDF-x. It's so much more logically laid out, and the help understands what I'm looking for without having to use specialist language. It's also easy to put the things you use the most right on the quick menu at the top of the screen. Not to mention it took all of a few seconds to define default fonts and formats for added text (something adobe doesn't even support as far as I can tell!) I also added my favorites to the Home menu (I crop and OCR scanned receipts and user manuals a lot.) The new OCR engine is sweet. I also used the convert to XLSX and got a spreadsheet that was actually in the proper columns and rows! Thanks, PDF-XChange!

I've always enjoyed the PDF X-CHANGE EDITOR. I've always found it very easy to use and understand over all the other PDF programs. I would never think of using any other PDF PRINTER but the PDF X-CHANGE EDITOR. It's a great program to work with. I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a great PDF PRINTER to work with.

I started building PDF forms with open source software like Scribus and LibreOffice. It would take me days and weeks to work out problems the open source software causes. I decided to take a leap and purchase a PDF editor. After purchasing PDF-XChange Editor I will never use a computer without it again as long as I live. I avoid Apple products just so that I can stay with the PDF-XChange brand! I had a couple of complicated questions. The team at PDF-XChange answered within 24 hours! I could not be happier with their service! They answered my questions in detail and in such a way that I could understand it with my limited knowledge. Thank you so much for this software! I love it!

What i really liked is, that the trial version really lets user try and configure ribbon menu in a big way. So after i was fine with all the setttings, i purchased a full version and things are all looking really good.

Hello I find PDF-XChange editor very helpful. I'm still finding out how to use various functions, but have found the "help" section to be good. A ctrl-z (undo) would be great

I had this software a few years ago, license expired. Use the free version for a little bit and then bought a new license. Price is reasonable for what you get, I think it has all the features that most everybody wants.

J'ai pu tester ce produit GRATUITEMENT pendant 1 an en tant que particulier. Au vu de ses qualités et des options accessibles malgré la gratuité, j'ai trouvé que de passer à une licence payante était justifié de par l'approche gratuite proposée, l'utilisation réelle que je fais de l'application et du souhait d'accéder aux fonctionnalités supplémentaires. Bravo pour cette application de qualité accessible aux particuliers et méritant un effort de contribution pour la maintenance et les nouveautés ou améliorations à paraître !
