I can say that the PDF-XChange Editor has been a fantastic application, it's very easy and straight forward to use and it works so well, the software gives such a professional result in producing pdf documents that can be editable at various user levels, the software presents itself with clarity in the software interface menu's, and in a way that any functions are easily found and accessed. It is a very versatile application without being a steep learning curve, i have used the software and not had any need to access the help files or manuals although they appear to be very clear and comprehensive, this is a great product solution to the other well known pdf main competitor, but without the ultra high cost that the competitor requires. This is great for 'Non-Profit' organisations and charities as the PDF-XChange team can help with the prices there too. Thanks developers for creating this great software.

I am very happy with my purchase of PDF-Xchange PRO, I really only needed a PDF reader 90% of the time... but I must say all the features is the PRO version are amazing. Still way more than I need on a day to basis, but having those extra feature when you really need them is AWESOME!

I've been searching high and low for a comprehensive PDF program that offered me something close to the functionality of Adobe Acrobat, but without the ridiculous bloat. I tried anywhere from 3-5 different programs, all of which simply weren't good enough. But PDF-XChange Editor appears to be the one! I love it thus far. It doesn't have near the footprint as Acrobat. It's fast, clean, and has very similar functionality. As long as PDF-Xchange Editor stays with a small footprint, it will be enormously successful.

I have used a competitor's product for as long as it has existed. It's just gotten more and more difficult to use. I switched to PDF-XChange Pro as a trial and have fallen in love with this product. it loads incredibly fast and it stays off the cloud. My favorite feature is the ability to find deeply embedded menu items using the menu search bar. This has everything that I want and need in a PDF editor at a really good price.

I recently had the chance to use PDF-XChange Editor extensively and was impressed by its superior functionality compared to Adobe Acrobat. The minimalist toolbar in Adobe Acrobat was a letdown, lacking the numerous options PDF-XChange offers. Great product. When I upgraded to Windows 11, my old local copy of Acrobat X Pro no longer worked. It took some searching, but this is the best replacement I have found for it (installed on a local drive, not in the cloud; with a one-time payment rather than paying rent). It seems to do everything Acrobat X Pro did, newer and better.

It has been about a month since I started to use PDF-exchange editor by switching from Adobe Acrobat. I must say the PDF-exchange editor has a much better cost performance providing all the necessary functions. I think I will stick to this service in future.

So far, so good! I was able to determine the entry level version fits my needs well, and so far it's been easy to work with.

I did considerable research on PDF applications before selecting PDF-XChange. Both free ones and the ones you pay for. This program, by far, is the best choice of them all. I will admit the user interface is a bit intimidating but this program does so much, in terms of features, that this is to be expected. And I cannot find anything it does not do in relation to PDF editing and it does them all well. This is a great program and the cost is more than fair for what you get. The OCR by itself is worth the cost of admission. This is a well thought out program with a huge number of features. I know I made the correct choice.

I have been using this suite of programs for years.
This is the most powerful suite of software for working with PDFs.
You can make many changes to PDF files, convert between different formats, extract individual elements, and optimize file sizes using custom templates.

Last year I looked for alternatives to this software and couldn't find any.
Even if you use MacOS, it's worth setting up a virtual Windows machine and installing PDF-XChange PRO on it.

I needed a PDF editor that could turn a PDF into a form, and didn't want to spend a lot of money. PDF-XChange fit the bill perfectly! The user interface was easy to navigate and I was able to turn my PDF, which was an application form originally written in Word and saved as a PDF, into a fillable form. This software turned out to be a good investment for me and I'll make use of it in the future.

I recently repurchased PDF-Xchange for an additional installation in home use environment under Parallel-Dektop, and brought back the pleasure of working with my favorite PDF-Tool on Mac. Apple's Preview is fine, but it's limitations are sometimes quite heavy, i.e.it cannot do many things like draw polygons, measure and so on, things your PDF-Xchange does pretty well and I hope you will hold on these features also in future.
In my professional past in the role of advisor, I brought PDF-XChange Editor into several real estate businesses, where it was widely used to review plans, correct documents. They also were absolutely satisfied of the allover performance, especially quick rendering of complex PDF, its measuring and editing tool.

It is professional software and I am highly depending on it 8n my study - few another features if available will make it the best one, like uses of AI, more ability of controlling the objects and auto save feature for pdf after doing some changes. And some extra.

This product is simply put - Fantastic! No hidden costs or fees and the Customer service is great - any queries we've had are answered almost immediately. Highly Highly recommend. So glad we found this as an alternate option to Adobe (we no longer use Adobe products, thanks to PDF Exchange)! We are LOVING IT!

3 years on and the best PDF editor/creator. Used daily, without any issues. Bit of a learning curve, but intuitive. Help info is superb. The product is fast and effective. Tidy in its layout and functionality. If you need and use PDF's, this is the tool. The renewal licence is fair for upgrades... This beats Adobe in so many ways, no more tearing your hair out in frustration... not to mention the background bloatware and ransom Adobe hold you to using their products.

It works very well with my Microsoft Surface Pro 11 ans Snapdragon ARM chip-set. Very fast and responsive.

I just had to take a moment to say thank-you to whoever decided to make such a powerful PDF software available for FREE! I am a retired entrepreneur who lost everything in my entrepreneurial business just prior to getting sick and having to retire. But I needed a PDF editor which was capable of annotations to track my monthly bank, credit card, etc. statements and did not want to spend $50/year on doing that task. Indeed, I almost signed up for a couple but happened across PDF-Exchange and what a blessing that is for this old guy on SSA!

Indeed, it's the best PDF editor I have ever seen! It's so simple, intuitive, straight-forward and very capable! I am so pleased to be able to use this software, I just had to thank someone! So, thank you so much! I will be smiling every month as I annotate my monthly statements!

This editor is so rich in features that it would almost be easier to say what it can't do than describe what it can do.

It has facilities that simply don't exist in many other well-known mainstream editors. The tools available for processing PDF bookmarks are a case in point. Many people who open a PDF probably aren't even aware of PDF bookmarks, or what they are for. Not everyone would want to do anything with them. But for those who do, the PDF-Xchange Editor Plus allows you to do things with bookmarks that you would never have thought were possible.

You can add prefixes and suffixes to all bookmarks’ titles. You can change the case of all bookmarks’ titles in one fell swoop, or individually one by one. You can sort bookmarks in alphabetical order, or in order of the page they refer to.

The user interface is another case in point. A lot of thought has clearly gone into it to make it as intuitive as possible, while at the same time providing a huge variety of options. It has so many tools built into it for controlling things like the zoom factor on page thumbnails, or the page display arrangements, that outstrip what other editors can do.

You can define your own keyboard shortcuts for the features you use the most, if you don't like the default shortcuts.
Find and replace searches the text of bookmarks’ titles, as well as the main text of the PDF file. The inbuilt OCR mechanism in PDF-Xchange Editor Plus comes from the well-reputed Abbyy FineReader stable.

There is so much to discover and use in this editor, I can't do justice to it all without writing a book about it. If it's not already obvious, I thoroughly recommend the PDF-Xchange Editor Plus to anyone who works seriously with PDFs.

Last but not least, I very much like the pricing model, which does not follow the modern practice of imprisoning you into a subscription, but uses a one-off purchase price scheme instead. For what this editor offers, the price is extremely reasonable.

I have been using PDF-xchange for a year or so, and I am having superb service. In my trade, documentation plays a key role in my day-to-day work. Pdf-xchange enabled me to accomplish editing, composing, and publishing much easier.

PDF-XChange Editor free version is great, which I used for years because I had no need for the advance features. At least that was what I thought, until I watched a youtube video of a teacher explaining how he used it to give lessons etc, then the penny dropped and my eyes were opened to the real power of PDF-XChange Editor. At that time I was involved in a court case and decided to input all the documented evidence, which was presented to me, both in hard copy and pdf's by subject, I learnt how to merge all the pdf's into one PDF within PDF-XChange Editor. Then I set about using links and bookmarks to enable me to move around all the evidence from bookmark to bookmark from within the text to prove my arguments, without loosing a heartbeat. It was fast, efficient and a delight to use! It was well worth the money and I wished that I had purchased it sooner! The one-off payment model, I liked very much and made it a "No Brainer" purchase for me. Using the PDF-XChange Editor software, felt very solid and in use, it was very workman like, functions worked as expected. I have only used a fraction of its features, however the functions and features I did use were really great!
Suggested improvements: Since I used links a lot, I found the following: 1) The word/phrase selected to appear as a link, with a style of Blue and underlined had to be set for every link separately within the properties and I would have very much liked to set up a style profile so that it is done in one click. 2) The link for that word/phrase was a transparent mask overlay, which is fine provided you never moved it. For example I had a list of content in a certain order and I wanted to change that order, i had to move each line of text, then move the correct link overlay mask separately. I would have liked a feature to lock the text and the link mask together so that I could move them together. This would have saved me heaps of time! 3) In the court case mentioned earlier I used an Android OS Tablet and as you know PDF-XChange Editor only works on a Windows OS. So I had to use an Android PDF reader and as a result lost the bookmark functionality but still had the link feature working (Thank goodness)! Is there a software recommendation for Android that is more compatible with PDF-XChange Editor features or are you working on an android version! 4) Last but not least, I am dyslexic, so a comprehensive video tutorial channel with each video, no longer than 5 minutes duration, focused and to the point would be my dream. Overall I would recommend PDF-XChange Editor software without hesitation. Thank you for such a professional fully features PDF software.

I'm a 54-year-old man who left behind years of tech jobs to pursue my calling of being a professional counselor. I am currently in grad school and have lots of reading - both textbooks and articles. Many of these are in PDF format.

I have used the free version of PDF-XChange for years, but never really dug into the features until I started grad school. Once I did, I quickly paid for a 3-year license. PDF-XChange is so powerful and intuitively laid out, and has helped me immensely.

The ability to add/edit/rearrange bookmarks is fantastic. Simply highlighting a document is often not enough. I want to have a structure so I can quickly reference a document. Sometimes a PDF (like a textbook) will already have a Bookmarks structure. But with PDF-XChange, I can add multiple layers deep as I see fit. This makes studying and referencing so much easier.

The Search function is extremely useful. Having the results pain visible, grouped by page number, I can quickly zero in on results from only a specific chapter or section. I also utilize PDF-XChange Editor's Session grouping function extensively. Often, a module for the week might contain as many as 10 or more PDF articles I need to read and reference. I can open them up once, and save the session for that module, and can then quickly access all the articles quickly and easily.

PDF-XChange is deeply powerful, and sometimes the options are a bit overwhelming. But after a little research, I find that everything is laid out and accessed pretty intuitively. And the customizations are near endless. I have quick key shortcuts for highlighting text for example, which I used daily. Highlighting something while I'm reading now happens so fast, it doesn't interrupt the flow of reading.

I am so grateful for PDF-XChange Editor. It has become an invaluable tool for my graduate program. My only regret is not digging deeper into all it's power and functionality earlier. It is truly an excellent piece of software. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this program. I use PDFs all day every day, and I've tried all and spent a lot of time with Foxit, my previous favorite, as well as Nitro PDF. PDF-XCHANGE blows them away. PDF-XCHANGE is the only full-featured PDF software offered with a reasonably-priced perpetual license. Not only that, it is endlessly configurable. You should definitely spend some time going through the settings to discover all of its capabilities. Unless you are using certain documents that, because of embedded scripts, require Adobe Acrobat, I can't imagine anything you might want to do with PDFs that you cannot do with PDF-XCHANGE. As a quick example, i use a lot of desktop automation using AutoHotKey, and in order to manage bookmarks, I need to be able to enter bookmark edit mode using just the keyboard (no mouse). Aside from PDF-XCHANGE, Foxit is the only other Adobe-alternative I have used that does not require a mouse click to enter edit mode. This is just one example of how PDF-XCHANGE does things the right way. It has so many configuration settings -- more than any other PDF program I've used -- that you should be able to work with it the way you want to work with it, instead of just conforming your workflow to the software. PDF-XCHANGE saves you time and clicks, once you have it set up the way you want.

This is a wonderful tool! Before I found PDF-XChange Editor, I unfortunately referred to it as an “Acrobat alternative.” It’s truly not. It stands on its own and has more features that I would not have expected. It’s very responsive and straightforward and does a great job. Would I recommend it? You bet!

I like that PDF-XChange is meticulous in both reading and writing pdfs. I like the messages about errors in others' pdfs that can be fixed by PDF-X. I haven't plumbed the depths of the app yet - there is a lot to learn - but it has been easy to use some special features, e.g. converting a pdf into a spreadsheet, and the results have been surprisingly good.

我認為買錯比買貴更浪費，所以有些下載了它的試用版，試驗它的一些功能。包含單獨下載PDF xchange editor試用，以及下載PDF xchange Pro來試用。
用起來的感覺是：
介面美觀直覺，而且語言可以選擇繁體中文。我覺得中文翻譯不隨便，感覺有讓相關專業人士修飾過。
OCR 部分準確度可以接受，而且OCR完還有分三種不同的顯示方式：可搜尋的圖片(Searchable Image)、可編輯的文字和圖像(Editable Text and Images)、精細頁面內容(Fine Page Content)。這幾種模式都各有優缺，我試用過覺得非常特別！

試用完之後，想說是買斷的就買來用用看。我看到再加一些錢就可以有最多3年的更新，感覺很值得。

不過，這款軟體它中文的資源相對少，幾乎沒有。還好我本身不排斥看英文所以可以看它官網的英文說明書，也可以看YouTube上的一些教學影片。

這個PDF XChange真的有很多貼心的功能，使用起來使用者體驗非常好。相較於臺灣國內的文電通(Right PDF)，我覺得 PDF XChange 價格更低，功能也更強大，而且加一些價格就有提供一定期間的持續更新。

PDF-Tools, 我個人認為可以理解為 PDF XChange Editor Plus 的功能捷徑。在 PDF XChange Editor Plus 需要五、六個步驟才能做的事情，在這個程式中一、兩個步驟就完成。

An amazing alternative to Acrobat Professional, as well as other PDF editors out there. The licensing model (perpetual license) is one of the best aspects of this solution.

I use the PDF-XChange Editor only for the same features available in Acrobat Reader, so I can't provide a review of its PDF editing capabilities. But PDFX is far superior to Acrobat as well as the other PDF reader/editor apps that I tried.

It has a complete and robust set of tools, capabilities, and personalizations.

If anyone has ever tried to create a quick toolbar in Acrobat then you know how tedious it can be. You need to go through a tree structure about four times for EACH item that you want to add to the toolbar.

Acrobat requires that you click on Comment in order to get the Comment toolbar at the top of the window for every file that you open, but not PDFX.

PDFX has a customizable ribbon and a customizable Quick Access toolbar that functions and looks like that of Word and Excel. Not Acrobat.

In short, PDFX has much of a standardize UI that you find in many programs, which Acrobat does not have.

Das Konzept im allgemeinen und die Integration in Windows und Office sind sehr gut umgesetzt. Die Einarbeitungszeit ist kurz und man kann effektiv PDFs erstellen und bearbeiten . Der PDF-Druckertreiber ist das perfekte Werkzeug, wenn man viel mit Druckereien zu tun hat. Es gab noch nie Beanstandungen - alle erstellten Dokumente waren tadellos.

We use 10 licenses at our company, it greatly helps and speeds up work. We are a copy shop, the biggest help is converting pdf files to a state suitable for printing.
Customer service responds almost immediately and provides a perfect solution to our problem. It's true, it's only been needed twice so far :)

I have used PDF-XChange Editor in the demo mode for years and have liked it as it very much resembles Adobe Acrobat in functions. I finally purchased a licence as I like the ability to create dynamic stamps, a whole lot easier than Acrobat. No need to learn Java script. The licenced version also unlocks all the nice features like splitting a file, combining multiple files to create a single file. And the price is very affordable compared to Adobe Acrobat. You actually purchase a perpetual licence with the option of paying for upgrades. I have tried the other PDF editors on the market but never really liked any of them either because they were too difficult to use, not intuitive, expensive etc.

I’m a long time user of Acrobat Pro and over the years, it has become increasingly complex, not intuitive,, and complex. I finally decided to look elsewhere and came across PDF-XChange. Wow! PDF-XChange Editor had completely replaced Adobe Acrobat in our architectural office workflow. This is the application that we use daily as our main tool for production, creation of PDF booklets, completion of any sort of documentation primarily issued in form of PDF.
