PDF-Xchange is a fairly intuitive app, in spite of its extensive feature-set. I've been able to pretty much hit the ground running with this app, and am happy to have made the purchase. It was reddit posts that brought me to test it out, and they were absolutely right to recommend this software. Moving away from Adobe products has been easier than I thought it would be. So far, PDFXchange and the Affinity products have covered my adobe needs while together only costing a couple of months worth of Adobe subscription for lifetime licenses for software. My only concern is with the license activation process, I'm not clear if it works in such a way as to ensure the software is still usable if/when PDF-xchange website/servers disappear

I have been using PDF-XChange Editor for many years, and I think it is truly outstanding software.
I recently upgraded my license from the regular PDF-XChange Editor to PDF-XChange Editor PLUS.
This upgrade gave me the ability to use their excellent OCR (optical character reader) software
that is built into PDF-XChange Editor PLUS. I had a few questions about the OCR software and
I was totally amazed with the incredibly good (AND FAST!!!) customer service support that the
PDF-XChange software team provides. Bravo!!!

I purchased your PDF-XChange Editor out of frustration with Adobe's Reader, with NCH's PicoPDF, and with Foxit's Reader as well. Both Adobe and Foxit had eliminated bookmarking from their "reader" products, requiring subscriptions at fairly high prices to contract products that would permit bookmarking in PDF format documents. PicoPDF seemed useful until I discovered it would not load large PDF files. I found your product quite by accident and am glad I did. Yours is now my "go to" product for managing files in PDF format having set it up as the default program for ".pdf" files. I not only appreciate being able to bookmark but am particularly fond of the OCR Convert feature that efficiently permits text selection within large documents without requiring conversion of the entire document. In summary I'm very fond of your product; it's a keeper.

The only words to describe this product are fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. I've used several high-end PDF editors before and this one not only ticks all the boxes it does it seamlessly.

Handles right to left script accurately has a highly accurate OCR in multiple languages, a good set of measuring tools which are easy to calibration. PDF-XCange has an intuitive, easy to navigate interface. This is far more than just a PDF editor.

The reason why I switched from my previous PDF editor - Nitro PDF, was because Nitro changed their licensing to force annual subscription. I'm delighted that Nitro PDF forced me to investigate alternatives otherwise I might not have discovered this superior editor.

Besides being an excellent PDF editor PDF XChange offers a perpetual liftime license which I find more attractive.

Grundlegend ist die Software eine echte Arbeitserleichterung mit vielen nützlichen Features.
Im Zuge von Updats sind aber auch alte gute Funktionen verloren gegangen.
Der Import von Stempeln war frührr bedeutend einfacher, Stempel in entsprechenden Ordner in Verzeichnis der Programms kopiert, neu gestarte und die Stempel waren verfügbar und richtig bezeichnet. Klappt mit eingenen Stempel nicht mehr.
Funktion weiße Ränder entfernen, funktioniert z. B. bei gescannten Dokumenten nicht automatisch, als Beispiel Scan DIN A5, wird auf A4 gespeichert und der freie Rand kann nur manuel entfernt werden.

I work full-time, am a part time student, and light-medium PDF user, and I'm very happy with my purchase. I've been using the software (Xchange Editor) since October 24 and I'm so happy with the features and performance. I'm also really glad not to have to deal with the bloated and intrusive Ad--- "Reader" app anymore. This software is very intuitive, customizable, loads quickly, and has everything I need (and WAY more, lol!). I love the text editor, pdf merging and converting, and feel spoiled by the fast and accurate OCR. Anyway, I don't leave reviews often but wanted to share my positive experience :) Cheers to the developers.

I have been professionally using and editing PDF files for over 15 years in construction industry. 5-6 years ago, I have accidentally saw a colleague using PDF-XChange Editor, because he said it was freeware. At that time, I was using another corporate PDF tool, with a known brand. First impression, I remember how I was so shocked when my colleague opened 20 PDF drawing files so fast at the same time and still PDF tool didn't act slowly or hung up. I immediately requested freeware version of PDF-XChange Editor to be also installed on my computer. And so it all started.

Thumbnails, Layers, Contents, the ability to rename or delete files while viewing, comments and flattening comments, converting files, combining files, viewing files and commenting on those converted from drawing tools... I cannot believe how everything is working so smoothy with PDF-XChange Editor! Everyday, I'm saying that this is such a great tool and recommending colleagues to use it!

Unfortunately, my company is still using another corporate PDF tool, although I strongly recommended PDF-XChange Editor considering the ease of use and competitive license fees. But to tell you the truth, even though I'm a heavy user of this tool, when I checked your office from street view, it felt a little bit weird. Maybe putting some banners or more informative content to your location could increase the possibility for corporate purchases.

First of all, I really LOVE PDF-XChange Editor.

What would I add?
I would like to be able to highlight text by character, and not have it become a separate box where I can't select text later independently.

Related to the above, I would like to be able to change the color of a word within an already highlighted paragraph. Currently, it doesn't allow me to select text, making it impossible to highlight a portion in a different color.

Also, the highlighting doesn't match the line spacing. The color is offset. It's possible that this is because the OCR engine doesn't recognize spacing properly. (NOTE: I'm reading old texts in old languages. My "requirement" is quite specific and, I suppose, specialized.)

I can say that the PDF-XChange Editor has been a fantastic application, it's very easy and straight forward to use and it works so well, the software gives such a professional result in producing pdf documents that can be editable at various user levels, the software presents itself with clarity in the software interface menu's, and in a way that any functions are easily found and accessed. It is a very versatile application without being a steep learning curve, i have used the software and not had any need to access the help files or manuals although they appear to be very clear and comprehensive, this is a great product solution to the other well known pdf main competitor, but without the ultra high cost that the competitor requires. This is great for 'Non-Profit' organisations and charities as the PDF-XChange team can help with the prices there too. Thanks developers for creating this great software.

I appreciate that PDF-X is rather fast, nevertheless is loaded with functionalities.
I only found the PDF comparison rather crude.
The window is small and cannot be enlarged, nor it is automatically shown where the differences are, but you only stare at two images side by side like in a "Spot the difference" game. Quite useless, but could be a nice improvement..

I've been searching high and low for a comprehensive PDF program that offered me something close to the functionality of Adobe Acrobat, but without the ridiculous bloat. I tried anywhere from 3-5 different programs, all of which simply weren't good enough. But PDF-XChange Editor appears to be the one! I love it thus far. It doesn't have near the footprint as Acrobat. It's fast, clean, and has very similar functionality. As long as PDF-Xchange Editor stays with a small footprint, it will be enormously successful.

It's not easy to be used to a new software, I'm sure that one month from now interface will appear easy and friendly!

- Like the distance or area dimension I miss a ANGLE dimension function, it schud be easy to do as no unit conversion is needed
- FLIP Horizontal and Vertical are grayed out on ex a square
- The search function are missing a corresponding REPLACE

What I enjoy about PDF-XChange Editor, the staff are patient- especially if you are not IT illiterate- you do not get this with PDF, PDF like Microsoft products are an impossability to communicate with, in otherwords you have to search and keep searching for a telephone/ e-mail. What else I enjoy about the product, the manual, it includes pictures as well as written format- I have not seen PDF do this or Microsoft come to that matter- admittedly I have not looked within the past 8 months with PDF or Microsoft if they have updated their presentation with regards to help.
With regards to PDF and XChange, the latter is certainly more flexible with its leafs- PDF has none, PDF you have had the market, learn from EXChange- in all departments, you had the monopoly, you sit rigid in the past, this is why, by the time this goes to press, XChange will or should be closely outselling their product, hence the 5 stars XChange Editor.

I have been using the free version of PDF-Xchange Editor for years and felt it was time to contribute. I purchased the Xchamge Pro, which includes the Tools and Editor with a couple of years of maintenance, which will keep me updated. I create many PDF reports and have refused to buy Acrobat because of the subscription that goes with it. PDF-Xchange Pro does everything I need, from creating forms to editing PDFs. A great piece of software that I highly recommend, especially if you are looking for an alternative to lengthy and expensive subscription plans. I hope that the good people at Tracker continue providing great software for another 27 years!

Hey. Im using this program long time ago in free version and i'm glad i bought full version. I'm using it to work. seriously i think this is one of the simplest and the best programs.
In my work and in my opinion it would be great if we have two more options.
- The option to draw lines of any thickness as it is, but with specified gaps between, for example, dashes.
- Drawing lines with curves instead of just using straight line segments.

I did considerable research on PDF applications before selecting PDF-XChange. Both free ones and the ones you pay for. This program, by far, is the best choice of them all. I will admit the user interface is a bit intimidating but this program does so much, in terms of features, that this is to be expected. And I cannot find anything it does not do in relation to PDF editing and it does them all well. This is a great program and the cost is more than fair for what you get. The OCR by itself is worth the cost of admission. This is a well thought out program with a huge number of features. I know I made the correct choice.

Great product. When I upgraded to Windows 11, my old local copy of Acrobat X Pro no longer worked. It took some searching, but this is the best replacement I have found for it (installed on a local drive, not in the cloud; with a one-time payment rather than paying rent). It seems to do everything Acrobat X Pro did, newer and better.

I've just purchased PDF-XChange Editor for my first ever owned laptop, after using work supplied laptops for incidential private use for decades.

PDF-XChange has been my employer's .pdf document editor of choice for most requirements, and I realised I needed this functionality on my private computer. After trying a few freebie alternatives I realised yet again that "you get what you pay for" and settled on PDF-XChange as a good compromise of functionality and price.

But also because I've found it intuitive to use and that it does the things I want to do to .pdf docs easily, getting it right the first time, nearly always. Things like create from Office 365 programs, secure, shuffle pages, insert and delete pages, sign electronically, compress and probably other functions used occasionally that don't spring to mind.

Great features, everything you need for a reasonable ONE TIME payment. Can't begin to express my appreciation for this product, being able to pay once for a great software package, able to print, edit, and do complex things with PDF files. Way better than Adobe's extortion, and great features like editing text, flattening comments/edits, and measuring to scale that many other software packages would charge significantly more for. Have recommended to my friends.

For now, just suggestions
1. Include tool to group images, lines, polylines or multiple objects...
2. Include tool to draw 3D objects like boxes, cylinders, etc., to use them in an isometric plan.
3. When using Copy or Cut option on objects like Text, lines or squares, it is not possible to paste them into other programs like Word, Excel, etc. This needs to be fixed.
4. When using layers, they should automatically apply all the features when a layer is assigned to an object; this feature does not work correctly as in other programs like AutoCAD.

I am a newbie to PDF-Exchange.That being said... I am more than impressed by the gamut of offerings in this PDF editor. I chose it to replace another PDF app which fails in several areas that are important to professional renderings via PDF. Actually, I've been trying A LOT of PDFs and few meet the requirements of the elements they purport to have.

PDF-Exchange after a month or so? (and I use PDFs daily) It's BETTER than all I've tried and from what I am trying to do to stump PDF-Exchange.... the more I realise you've done a superlative job in creating this product.

I needed a PDF editor that could turn a PDF into a form, and didn't want to spend a lot of money. PDF-XChange fit the bill perfectly! The user interface was easy to navigate and I was able to turn my PDF, which was an application form originally written in Word and saved as a PDF, into a fillable form. This software turned out to be a good investment for me and I'll make use of it in the future.

I recently repurchased PDF-Xchange for an additional installation in home use environment under Parallel-Dektop, and brought back the pleasure of working with my favorite PDF-Tool on Mac. Apple's Preview is fine, but it's limitations are sometimes quite heavy, i.e.it cannot do many things like draw polygons, measure and so on, things your PDF-Xchange does pretty well and I hope you will hold on these features also in future.
In my professional past in the role of advisor, I brought PDF-XChange Editor into several real estate businesses, where it was widely used to review plans, correct documents. They also were absolutely satisfied of the allover performance, especially quick rendering of complex PDF, its measuring and editing tool.
