The PDF-XChange browser extensions enable you to convert web pages to PDF directly from supported web browsers. If the PDF-XChange browser extensions are not available after installing PDF-XChange Editor, you can install them manually using the links provided below.

Note that the PDF-XChange browser extensions are intended only for users of PDF-XChange Standard and PDF-XChange Pro. Before doing anything else, please check that it is one of those two products that you have installed, as most of the extension features will not work with other versions of the software. Then please follow the steps below:

Install the Google Chrome Extension

1. Open the Chrome Web Store.
2. Navigate to the PDF-XChange extension page here.
3. Click Add to Chrome.
4. Confirm the installation when prompted.
5. Restart Google Chrome if necessary.

Once installed, the PDF-XChange extension will be available from the Chrome toolbar.

Install the Microsoft Edge Extension

1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. Navigate to the PDF-XChange extension page here.
3. Click Get.
4. Confirm the installation when prompted.
5. Restart Microsoft Edge if necessary.

Once installed, the PDF-XChange extension will be available from the Edge toolbar.

Troubleshooting

If the extension is missing after installation:

• Verify that you are using one of the supported PDF-XChange programs (Standard or Pro).
• Ensure that the extension has not been disabled in your browser's extension manager.
• Restart the browser after installation.
• Remove and reinstall the extension from the appropriate store link above.
